13Carat was founded in New York City in 1995, and produced theatre, dance, video, and art installations there until 2002. Now based in Chicago, the company is looking forward to offering their style of "immersion" theatre to audiences here. Immersion theatre incorporates artistic mediums like music, dance, and video to heighten the live theatrical experience.
