Arts in Crisis Symposium to be Held at Madison’s Overture Center
Saturday, July 18, 2009Overture Center for the Arts, Wisconsin Arts Board, Arts Wisconsin, Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission, and Madison Arts Commission are pleased to host Arts In Crisis: A Kennedy Center Initiative, a symposium with Michael M. Kaiser,
president of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and author of The Art of the Turnaround.

Kaiser addresses the challenges facing non-profit arts and cultural organizations today through fundraising, building more effective boards of trustees, budgeting, marketing, technology, and other areas pertinent to maintaining a vital organization during a troubled economy. The Madison event is part of a 50-state tour.
